Day 1 – POINT OF ORIGIN / SANTIAGO

Departure, from point of origin, with scheduled flight Santiago in Chile, meals and overnight on board.

Day 2 – SANTIAGO

Arriving in Santiago, meet with our local representative and transfer to hotel afternoon city sightseeing…. the historical old town, with the Cathedral in neo-classical style, the government building "La Moneda", so called because it was the official site of the mint in the late eighteenth century; the pedestrian area of the Paseo Ahumada, the commercial heart of the city;
the bohemian neighbourhood of Bellavista, one of the liveliest of the city, Cerro San Cristobal, with a magnificent panoramic view of the city and of the Cordillera of the Andes; the "Graneros del Alba, the most famous local craft centre, for a bit of shopping…. Overnight.

Day 3 – SANTIAGO

Breakfast at hotel, day at leisure, to relax, shopping or to make optional excursions. Overnight.

Day 4 – SANTIAGO / PUNTA ARENAS

Breakfast at hotel, morning transfer to airport and departure by scheduled flight to Punta Arenas, upon arrival, meet with our local representative and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight.

Day 5 – PUNTA ARENAS / TORRES DEL PAINE

Breakfast at hotel, then departure for Torres del Paine National Park along the route stop to visit the  "Milodon" s cave, where were found the remains of a pre historic animal, arrival late in the afternoon, hotel accommodation, overnight.

Day 6 – TORRES DEL PAINE

Breakfast at hotel, full day visit of the National Park, the spectacular and towering granite pillars of Torres del Paine, dominate the Patagonian steppe and outline the landscape, of what is considered one of the most beautiful national parks in the world,  here, nature still wild and unspoiled stretches for miles, a multitude of trails meander through lush forests, along rivers and streams, or by pristine lakes, the tour will cross the park, with stops at Salto Chico, Port Weber, arriving at lake Gray to observe the glaciers with the characteristic blue colour, true paradise for hiking lovers the park, is also a sanctuary for many animal species among which: nandues, guanacos and flamingos, the hikers can expect breathtaking and unforgettable views Return to the hotel in the evening, overnight.

Day 7 – TORRES DEL PAINE / EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at hotel, morning transfer to the Chile / Argentina border, continuing then to the town of El Calafate, arrival in the afternoon, hotel accommodation, overnight.

Day 8 – EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at hotel, full day sailing excursion on the Argentino lake, the navigation will lead to observe at close range, the glaciers of Onelli and Upsala, which leave the observer in awe in front of their majesty, it is almost ethereal to sail amongst huge icebergs floating on the water, listening every now and then to the loud thuds of more ice slabs breaking from the glacier fronts Lunch will be served in the course of the excursion, eaten in the fantastic theatre of the enchanting nature, return at the hotel in the afternoon, overnight.

Day 9 – EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at hotel, full day excursion to the glacier “Perito Moreno” which is the main attraction of the Glaciers National Park, consisting of 13 glaciers, covering an area of roughly 300 square kilometres that from the top of the Andes slide into the lakes: Argentino and Viedma, the best feature of the Perito Moreno glacier is its accessibility: the front, 3 km wide, 70 feet high for a 35 km depth is incredibly observable from a few feet, the Perito Moreno glacier is one of few in the world  still slightly advancing, so is not unusual to hear loud rumbles, due to cracks that occur in its depth, it is also usual to observe large icebergs that break off loudly from its front, lunch will be served in restaurant during the excursion, it will also be possible to make a small navigation in front of the glacier called "water safari" (this mini tour is optional and must be paid on site). Overnight.

Day 10 – EL CALAFATE / USHUAIA

Breakfast at hotel, morning at leisure to relax, early afternoon transfer to the airport and departure to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, a gateway to the vast and mysterious Antarctica, situated on the shore of the Beagle Channel, where its particular nature, gives the impression to have really reached the end of the world, upon arrival, meet with our local representative and transfer to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure, overnight.

Day 11 – USHUAIA

Breakfast at hotel, morning excursion sailing in the Canal Beagle, during which you may spot sea lions, cormorants and many other species of birds, upon return to Ushuaia lunch of typical “Asado Fueguino”, in the afternoon excursion in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where, can be observed:  trees deformed by wind, various different floral species, coloured fox, wild rabbits, beavers and wild geese. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight.

Day 12 – USHUAIA / TRELEW / PUERTO MADRYN

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport and departure by schedule flight to Trelew, upon arrival, meet with our local representative, transfer to Puerto Madryn, hotel accommodation, overnight.

Day 13 – PUERTO MADRYN

Breakfast at hotel, full day excursion, exploring the Peninsula Valdes, with an early start, departure towards Puerto Piramides where weather permitting it will be possible to navigate on the bay to closely observe the whales that from June to mid-December, populate the Gulf (this excursion is optional and must be paid locally), continuing then for Punta Delgada, an enchanting and unique place, a sheer cliff overlooking the sea, where by walking on the beach, will be possible to observe the elephant seals, in their continental habitat, after a stop for a typical lunch at the restaurant of the “Estancia El Faro”,  continue for a visit to “Caleta Valdes”, a long stretch of sand creating a lagoon, where sea lions, elephant seals and some penguins, can be observed, during the journey through the steppe other local animals such as: coloured fox, guanacos, maras, nandues and martinetas, may be observed, overnight.

14 Day – PUERTO MADRYN / TRELEW / BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast at hotel, full day excursion to Punta Tombo, created in 1979, the nature reserve of Punta Tombo is an important wildlife reserve in the province of Chubut, the major attraction of the reserve is definitely, the immense colony of Magellan penguins, one of the largest in the world, it will be absolutely fascinating to walk amongst thousands of those little funny animals that there find refuge to breed during the austral summer, lunch is included,. this tour takes place from October to about mid-April, for the rest of the year is replaced by the visit of Gaiman and of the Ameghino Dam. In the afternoon transfer to airport and departure by scheduled flight to Buenos Aires, upon arrival, meet with our local representative and transfer to hotel, overnight.

Day 15 – BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast at hotel, morning city sightseeing, Buenos Aires is a megalopolis of nearly twelve million inhabitants and is also one of the finest cities in South America…. the picturesque Italian neighborhood of “La Boca” where you will walk along the “Calle Caminito” where evidence of a ethnic-cultural heritage is still left intact…..,” Plaza del Congreso” point of origin of all the Argentinian roads, with its monument at “Los Dos Congresos”…., Plaza de Mayo, which has witnessed all the most important events in the history of Argentina, and where to find representative buildings, such as the “Cabildo”, the Cathedral and the presidential palace “Casa Rosada”…..,”la Recoleta” an elegant area with many attractions, amongst which the famous cemetery and the colonial church of “El Pilar”….,San Telmo, possibly one of the oldest areas of town with its colonial buildings with their resident artists and artisans, meeting point of tango lovers in the many “milongas”, very famous on Sunday, on its main square is the antiques and “fleas” market…..rest of the day at leisure, Overnight.

Day 16 – BUENOS AIRES / POINT OF ORIGIN

Breakfast at hotel, day at leisure, up to the time to transfer to the airport, departure by scheduled flight to Italy, meals and overnight onboard.

Day 17 – POINT OF ORIGIN

Arrival in the morning at the point of origin, end of our services.
